Integrating with Mantle

What you get out of the box

Just by connecting your Partner account, Mantle automatically starts ingesting your app events, transactions, and enough customer data to create a powerful index of who you’ve crossed paths with and their history. This data alone is enough to generate rich reports for nearly any business metric you care to see.

However, there’s some magic happening under the hood to generate all of this, as the scope of the Partner API doesn’t provide all the data you see in Mantle. Some reports are enabled through clever deduction, while in other cases, the Partner API gives us just enough data to hunt down external sources we can use to enrich your experience.

For example:

Trials and discounts aren’t returned by the Partner API, but with some configuration on your part and our secret sauce, we can get it right most of the time
Merchant-specific data is limited, so we go straight to the source (the storefront) to grab details that make the experience better, and use AI to interpret data like merchant industry

In the examples above, integration would provide perfect accuracy of trials and discounts, ensuring merchants are never shown as on or off a trial when they shouldn’t be, and tracking the exact amount and duration of discounts throughout your financial reporting – from MRR to customer subscription details. Similarly, automatically knowing what Shopify Plan a merchant is on becomes a breeze with integration.
