Contact capture

Everyone knows the default Shop email you get isn’t a high quality touch point with your customers. In just a few steps, Mantle can automatically capture the contact information of any member of a merchant’s team that opens your app.

On top of populating the Contact area of your Customer Detail, you’ll be growing a higher quality email list to drive adoption and grow your app. Here’s how:

  1. Ensure you’ve set up the Mantle Pixel.
  2. Go to your Partner Dashboard, select the app you want to set up and grab your Client Secret.

  1. Back in Mantle, go to App Settings for the same app. Add your Client Secret and save.

  1. Test, by opening your app with your test shop. If your contact information was already added, try it with a different staff account.

You should see the staff account added as a point of contact!

Here are a few things to note:

  • Mantle will only add one contact per email address.
  • When Mantle detects that a user is also the shop owner, they will be set as ’Primary Contact’. All others will be added with the role ‘User’.
  • If Mantle detects that a user is a collaborator, it’s not added to ensure that contacts are real members of the merchant’s team.
