We spend a lot of time saying that Mantle’s not an analytics platform, but Reports are a core piece of Mantle and they always will be. Reports are not just data for the sake of data – reports should drive insights, actions, and workflows. Reports should feed the various functions of your business with the data they need to grow more, sell more, expand more, churn less, and so on. Each report answers a question. Mantle’s full report library includes more than 25 reports. All are worth a look, but we believe three are worth immediate attention. Meet our Most Valuable Reports:

  • Traffic sources: how are people finding your Shopify App Listing?
  • Funnel: how are people progressing from discovery to subscription and beyond?
  • MRR: how much money will I make next month?

Traffic Source Attribution brings you origination data for every visit to your app listing. There’s gold here: first, see what percentage of your visits come from browsing the App Store vs. driven by external channels like Google and other sites. Then, go deeper by adding pivots with a click to expose what that App Store traffic was searching for when they found you. This report comes with built-in quick funnel insights so you can see how these surfaces convert from visit to install and subscription.

For a number that gets thrown around a lot, MRR is often misunderstood and not always clearly presented. It’s not how much you made this month, or how much you expect to make next month – it’s how much you’re billing. Because of things like Shopify payouts, billing dates, etc., most reporting tools without a complete understanding of how Shopify works fail to give you an accurate number. Mantle does.
