Day 3: The customer view

Your customer operations hub

Customers are at the heart of your business, and they’re at the heart of Mantle too. In our first step, you’ll remember that we explored the Customers list and Segments. The Customer view is the next step in customer management – everything you need to know and do with specific customers, all in one place. Let’s explore everything you can access when looking at a single customer.

Customer overview

In this pane, we can see an overall summary of this customer and the length and financial nature of their relationship with us.

App summary

Each customer also has an App summary card for each of our apps they have installed. Here we can see more information about their plan, when we invoice them, and whether they’ve left an App Store review. You can also take customer actions from here, like modifying their plan or granting access to features. We also display information from other Mantle products here, like Discounts and Affiliate relationships (we’ll cover these more in a future email).

Shopify summary

Mantle Identify allows us to populate the Shopify summary card with details of the Store’s information like plan, industry, and contact details. Most of what we’ve covered here is about data you can pull from the Customer view. In our next two emails, we’ll cover more about how individuals and teams can get work done inside the Customer view and help Mantle become the operations hub of your business.

💡 Dig deeper: While we’re talking about Customers, check out the Customer Insights report. This let’s you go a level deeper than our regular filters on the Customers view and generate lists of customers based on a variety of filters and pivots.
