Day 5: Mantle is for teams

Mantle is for teams

For too long, teams and functions within companies have been in isolated tools, operating in silos, unclear on what other teams are doing and having to context switch between tools to get a complete picture. Mantle helps companies of all sizes understand their business and operationalize their processes. Whether you’re a solo founder or a big team, Mantle makes it all easy. Mantle includes a ton of team features to make communication and context gathering simple, regardless of role. Let’s dive in:

Team management & roles

Team management

Because there’s something for everyone inside Mantle, it’s important to make sure everyone who can benefit has access. We’ve made getting your team in to Mantle as easy as an invite – everyone under one org. But we also know that not every founder wants every person on the team to have access to everything. That’s where Roles comes in – you can easily define a role for each team member, limiting aspects of the product that might be more sensitive.

Account owners

Account owners

Each Customer has definable Account Owners, which allows you to track ownership over accounts. Especially for large teams, it’s easy to define ownership for different internal functions so everyone knows who to talk to about a particular Customer. Then, customer lists throughout Mantle are filterable on Account Owner, so everyone can easily see all of their accounts in one place.

Plus – and we’ll dive in to this more later – easily track Sales team commissions at the org and customer level.

Timeline tasks

In our last email, we talked about Timeline on the Customer view. But Timeline extends beyond automatic entries and comments with Tasks.

Tasks are easy to create and include reminders and due dates, so you and anyone you assign knows what needs to be done to support this specific customer. It’s easy – name the task, assign someone on your team, and set a due date. The task owner will get a notification immediately, and as the task approaches due. Whether it’s for delegation or reminding yourself, it’s the easiest way to keep relationships on track during the sales process and beyond.

Slack & Discord

For better or worse, is there anything we check more than Slack? We build a lot at Mantle, but we’re not coming to replace your team chat tool. That’s why from day one we’ve had Slack and Discord integrations, so we can push important data to where you already obsessively check. Out of the box, get app install notifications – or use Flows to create totally custom Slack notifications. Then, celebrate the big customers with your team.

Team operations can be complicated – these tools are all there to keep you and your team on track. Next, we’ll talk about Mantle’s growth tools.
